Miguel Morris is Associate Vice President of Operations at MedicAlert Foundation Canada, where he leads national operational initiatives focused on service delivery, emergency response, and healthcare accessibility. With more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across the healthcare, nonprofit, and customer service sectors, he brings expertise in organizational strategy, governance, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and risk management.

Miguel previously served on the Lupus Ontario Board of Directors and is honoured to once again support the organization as a Director-at-Large. Through his work on the Finance and Governance Committees, he contributes to strengthening the organization’s long-term sustainability, governance practices, and strategic direction.

His connection to Lupus Ontario is both personal and longstanding. Having seen firsthand the impact lupus can have on individuals and families, Miguel is committed to advancing awareness, education, advocacy, and support for those living with the disease. He believes that strong governance and sound leadership enable organizations like Lupus Ontario to create meaningful, lasting change for the communities they serve.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Miguel is passionate about giving back through volunteer leadership and working collaboratively to help build a stronger future for people living with lupus across Ontario.
